In May 2024, we received an inquiry from a UAE client. Initially, the inquiry came from one of their colleagues, but after the first quotation, communication ceased. Undeterred, our sales team persistently followed up with messages. In August, a new representative from the client company contacted us. He explained that the previous person in charge had resigned. And he had taken over the procurement plan for the project.
We reinitiated discussions, confirmed the technical parameters, and updated the quotation based on the latest requirements. The client reviewed the revised offer and requested a discount. After further negotiation, a mutually agreeable price was reached. However, the customer intends to transport this product together with his other products. We need to wait until the container for his other batch of products is ready before placing an order for our products. We also express our understanding.
In early September, the client informed us they were ready to proceed and made the payment the same day after receiving the pro forma invoice. Three days later, the funds cleared, and we immediately began the production of 铝合金龙门起重机.
With the client’s container shipping schedule already fixed, we faced a tight 10-day production window, compared to the standard 15-day lead time. Prioritizing the client’s needs, we expedited the production process without compromising quality, successfully completing manufacturing within the required timeframe. We also ensured the aluminum gantry crane was securely packaged and delivered to the port for seamless loading into the client’s container.
