In April 2024, we received an inquiry from a Philippine client regarding a bidding project. The initial request involved a European chain hoist paired with C-shaped steel and electrical cables. Alongside our quotation, we provided the necessary documentation to support their bidding process.
By August, the client reached out again, informing us they had won the bid but required an updated quotation due to additional components requested by the end user. We reviewed their bidding documents and technical drawings, updated the proposal, and issued a revised pro forma invoice (PI) for confirmation.
A few days later, the client requested a discount of European chain hoist. After negotiating, we offered a competitive price, which the client accepted, issuing a purchase order (PO) the next day. Upon receiving payment within two days, our sales team immediately coordinated with the production department to begin manufacturing.
During production, a challenge arose: the order included six steel I-beam columns, each approximately 10 meters long. Transporting such lengthy components posed logistical difficulties. Our production manager suggested pre-cutting the beams to simplify transport and potentially reduce shipping costs. After explaining the situation to the client, they approved the adjustment, appreciating our proactive and professional approach.
The client expressed satisfaction with our services, describing us as fortunate partners for their first import from China. They also shared plans to visit our facility next year, signaling intentions for long-term collaboration.
