Double Girder Overhead Crane – Concrete Reinforcement Handling Solution
The main building components used in modern building construction usually need to be prefabricated in the production workshop of the construction company. Then it is directly transported to the construction site for assembly. During the prefabrication process of concrete components, construction companies need to use steel wires and steel bars to make steel wire mesh and steel cage, which are used for pouring concrete components and building foundations. SEVENCRANE provides a double girder overhead crane for the concrete component production workshop of a well-known European construction company. This can help the user efficiently move steel wire coils, steel bars, and large components in different height areas of the workshop.
The user's workshop is dedicated to producing building components such as ceilings, columns, foundations, and exterior walls. Raw materials such as steel bars and steel wire coils are transported by trucks to the workshop. Then, the truck is unloaded and transported to the production line using a bridge crane. On the production line, steel wire coils are automatically cut into a certain length and welded into steel wire mesh. The bundled steel wire mesh is then transported to the next process area by a bridge crane. There, the steel wire mesh is connected as a steel cage. The production process in this workshop requires safe and efficient handling of bulky steel mesh. Therefore, the linkage, wireless remote control, and precise positioning functions of double girder overhead crane are essential.
The intelligent safety control system equipped with the bridge crane in this workshop greatly improves the safety during use. With the linkage control function of the intelligent safety control system, two cranes or two electric hoists on the same crane can be controlled through a common remote control. The linkage control function can be turned on and off through the selection switch on the remote control.
The operator can see the selected function changes through the display screen on the remote control. And can also see the real-time operating status of the crane through the status display screen on the crane beam. For example, the opening and closing of load capacity, total load, overload, maintenance prompts, or intelligent safety control system functions. The intelligent safety control system enables the bridge crane in this workshop to simultaneously operate two hoists on a single crane to lift long steel bars. It is also possible to control the lifting of large steel reinforcement components through the linkage of two different cranes.
