Double Girder Goliath Crane Installation Precautions

During the installation of the double girder goliath crane, the following safety precautions should be paid attention to:

1. Before the installation of the gantry crane, the installation plan should be determined according to the lifting equipment installed on the site, the installation technical measures should be formulated, and the safety technical disclosure should be made to the installation operator.

2. The installation site should be flat and hardened, the access road should be unobstructed, and there should be no obstacles above to meet the requirements of truck cranes, transport vehicles and hoisting operations.

3. The track foundation and truck crane fulcrum foundation should meet the bearing requirements.

4. Set up a safety cordon around the installation site of the double girder goliath crane. And set up necessary safety signs and warning signs.

5. Before installation, the installation tools and required materials should be checked, and the installation should be carried out in the order of the installation plan.

6. The high-strength bolts, steel, and steel strands used in the installation must have a certificate of conformity. And the random inspection meets the design requirements. The torque wrench and other construction equipment used in the installation process must meet the requirements before they can be used.

7. The fastening surface of high-strength bolts must be clean and free of oil and corrosion.

8. When the hoisting capacity of the hoisting equipment allows, the ground assembly work should be expanded as much as possible and the aerial work should be reduced.

9. Set up semi-circular corners (steel rope guards) at the corners of the hoisting wire rope and equipment to prevent the wire rope from being damaged.

10. When the double girder goliath crane outriggers are temporarily placed, the bottom trolley should be fixed to prevent movement. The arrangement of the wind ropes is reliable and the quantity is sufficient.
