2t Einträger-Brückenkran bereit für den Versand auf die Philippinen
Technical Parameter of European single girder bridge crane + steel structure
Lifting capacity: 2t
Lifting height: 5.2m
Span: 5.13m
At the end of November 2021, we received an inquiry from the Philippines.
The customer's needs are very clear. They need to provide their end user a small 2t European bridge crane system. That is, Europäischer Einträger-Brückenkran + steel structure. The lifting height is 5.2m, the span is 5.13m, and a total of four columns.
After receiving the inquiry, we asked the customer's purpose of purchase. And confirmed with the customer whether it is an urgent project.
The customer also responded positively. He told us that the project was progressing normally. And if the quotation was relatively suitable, they would consider placing an order immediately.
After we understand the basic needs of customers, we send relevant quotations, drawings, and other related documents to the customer's mailbox the next day.
On 12.3, the customer asked us whether the overhead crane can be used outdoors after checking the quotation. All of our products can be used outdoors. Usually, we take into account the outdoor weather. And we also make special rain cover for customers to achieve dual functions of cooling and rainproof.
discuss the payment term
On 12.23, customer contacted us and discussed the payment term. Since our terms are EXW, it does not involve post-delivery matters, such as bills of lading. The customer requires us to pay 50% in advance and 50% of the balance to be paid against the bill of lading.
In fact, this does not make sense in terms of payment terms. Because we have no responsibility after delivery, the ocean bill of lading will not pass through our hands.
Considering the above, we actively negotiate with customers, and we take the initiative to make concessions, accepting 40% of the advance payment and 60% of the final payment.
But the customer doesn't seem to be very satisfied with the payment terms. On second thought, we consult with the client whether to accept the CIF terms. We will make 40% advance payment based on CIF, and 60% balance payment will be paid against draft bill of lading.
On 12.29, we reached an agreement with the customer.
