Portalkran i stål leverer skræddersyede løsninger til skibsløftning
In August 2024, SEVENCRANE received an inquiry from a US client. The customer is interested in the PT2-1 steel gantry crane used for lifting ships and accessories. The inquiry showed that the customer had a clear understanding of the product details and delivery schedule, suggesting prior experience. After contacting through WhatsApp, the customer confirmed that they had previously used SEVENCRANE's product at another company and were satisfied with its performance. This immediately instilled a sense of trust in them.
Through efficient communication, the customer’s questions, particularly about modifying the crane’s height to fit a facility with lower doors and the requirement for two hoists, were promptly addressed. SEVENCRANE shared product operation videos and details such as pinholes for height adjustments, receiving positive feedback from the customer.
The key challenge was meeting the customer's strict delivery schedule of steel gantry crane. SEVENCRANE explained the limitations of air freight for such large equipment, and despite this, the customer quickly placed an order and paid the deposit. Production was scheduled immediately, with manual adjustments requested for crane height and trolley operation to suit the customer's requirements.
During discussions, the initial voltage request was for 110V single-phase, which is uncommon for hoists of this type. The customer understood and promptly changed the requirement to 480V three-phase. The project is now progressing smoothly, and SEVENCRANE’s responsiveness and adaptability played a significant role in securing the order and ensuring the project meets the customer’s expectations. This case exemplifies how strong communication, flexibility, and trust can lead to a successful partnership.
