Classification of jib crane

Jib crane is a new generation of light lifting equipment made to adapt to modern production, and its working strength is light. It’s widely use in workshop, storage, yard and some other fixed place, especially used for lifting in short-distance or serried place.  

It has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, labor saving, small footprint, easy operation and maintenance, etc. It can be divided into the following types.

Pillar jib crane

It is composed of a column, a swing arm slewing drive device and an electric hoist. The lower end of the column is fixed on the concrete foundation by anchor bolts. And the cantilever is driven to rotate by the cycloid pinwheel decelerating device. The electric hoist runs in a straight line from left to right on the cantilever I-beam and lifts heavy objects.

Mobile Type

Mobile jib crane is equipped with universal wheels at the bottom of the column, which can move flexibly. It has the characteristics of strong maneuverability and wide adaptability. It is a necessary separate emergency hoisting equipment for high-efficiency automatic production lines.

Wall mounted jib crane

It is installed on a certain column of the wall, which can save space, but the flexibility is not strong.

Wall travelling jib crane

The walking rail of the crane is installed on the cement column of the factory building, and the column of the original factory building is used to install the walking rail beam and track, which does not occupy the original factory space and covers the working area conveniently and efficiently.
